The Ramsey's

After leaving the Field of Dreams (pics and post to come later), I pulled into the town of Marion in Cedar Rapids, IA.  It was a quaint town - very nice, quiet, and beautiful around.  It was actually the first sign of anything other than pastures and fields since I had been in Iowa... and I had been in the state most of the day.

I pulled up and Thad was already manning the grill.  Stuffed pork chops, filet mignon, sausage.  MMMmmmmmm.  Kaleb (big brother) and Kyle (lil brother) were out in the yard playing, getting along for the most part.  I was surprised how well behaved they were and how well they got along!  I didn't know two youngsters those ages could stand each other!  I guess if Thad was my dad, I'd behave and try to get along with my brother the best I could!

We sipped a few brewskies, then Kate arrived from work.  Dinner was served shortly thereafter!  It was delicious!  Very nice to share my second home-cooked meal of the trip with some old friends.  I really appreciate the comfy bed, amazing food, and great company.  Thanks to the Ramsey's!

(Thad, Kyle, Kaleb, Kate)
Aren't they adorable??
