Day 8 - Destination: Napa Valley

I got on the road Saturday morning (from Reedsport, OR) at 7:30am (pacific time) after a call around 6:45am (thanks MOM!).  At the time I was asking myself, "who is calling me so frickin early?!?!?" but in hind-sight I'm glad she did b/c I needed to GMAOTR.  

So... I drove from 7:30am until about 5:30pm - on the Pacific Coast Highway... damn it was arduous.  But hey, I was on a mission - Napa Valley Wine Country and my Bill Splitter.  Eventually I made it to Napa Valley at around the 5:30pm mark.  Unfortunately, as luck would have it, MOST of the wineries close at 5:00pm.  SOB!!  

I managed to find a couple that were open, thankfully, and I participated in a couple tastings and purchases.  I also snapped some random pics of the nearby wineries/vineyards.   Pics below:
